The Toronto-based company had announced in January it would invest $82.6 million and add 91 jobs in a facility in McBee. Cylic also opened the town hall up to questions from residents.

Projects in 4 Pee Dee counties receive rural infrastructure grants

The SC Rural Infrastructure Authority has awarded $29 million in grants for capital improvement projects in 16 counties, including four in the Pee Dee. The authority said in a statement Tuesday the grants will go toward improving water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure, benefiting more than 50,000 households and businesses and bolstering services that support economic growth.
