Operations at the 129,000-square-foot facility at 3630 W. Highway 76 have already come on line, the statement said. The site will manufacture acoustic and decorative panels and moldings for the North American market.
NSP was formed as a joint venture by Pak-Lite Inc., Selit North America Inc. and FN Neuhofer, according to a 2024 statement from Pak-Lite. Pak-Lite, based in Suwannee, GA, manufactures foams, specialty materials and fabrics, according to its website. Selit, with its headquarters in Commerce, GA, produces foam flooring underlayment. Austrian firm FN Neuhofer manufactures products for floors, walls and ceilings.
The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has awarded Marion County a $300,000 grant to aid in building improvement.
NSP CEO Ed Bass said in the statement, “From day one, Marion County and state partners have welcomed us with exceptional support. We’re excited to bring new jobs and investment to the area and look forward to building strong relationships as we grow our presence in South Carolina.”
“We are proud to welcome NSP Panels to Marion County,” Marion County Council Chairman Dewayne Tennie said. “This investment reflects the strength of our workforce and the opportunities our community offers, and we look forward to the jobs and growth it will bring to our county.”
The company is taking in-person applications at the Mullins site, the statement said.
